Rick continues to hone his writing skills on his own and with co-writers who in recent years have included Paul Nelson, Randy Boudreaux and Walter Hyatt.


Go With Your Heart Rick released his first recording of original tunes in Houston with "Go With Your Heart".

a Rick Gordon/Walter Hyatt co-write, was performed on Austin City Limits by David Ball and Rick, who led the King Tears band.

Houston Town was also performed on TNN's Primetime Country by Walter Hyatt and Rick. For Rick, it was a dream come true. Both times.
